GEUS is an independent research and advisory institution in the Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate in Denmark. GEUS conducts geological surveys to exploit and protect geological natural resources in Denmark and Greenland. Its primary activities are research in water, energy, mineral and natural resources; data management, advisory services, and public information. It carries out scientific tasks in relation to the administration of legislation in areas such as water supply, raw materials and use of the subsurface. It also undertakes assignments related to energy, minerals, water and the environment on a contractual basis for other public authorities, private companies and clients outside Denmark.
De Nationale Geologiske Undersøgelser for Danmark og Grønland (GEUS) (the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland) is contributing to all technical work packages on SECURe and will also have a role in WP6 Sharing best practice and knowledge communication and dissemination activities.
